Dr. Poonam Mishra is presently working as Associate Professor in Department of Food Engineering and Technology Tezpur University, Assam India. She has completed B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD in Food engineering and Technology. She is having around 14 year of teaching and research experience. She is presently working on two funded project as PI and she has completed two externally funded projects successfully. Presently she is guiding three PhD Scholars, one M.Tech and two B.Tech students. She supervised more than 16 postgraduate students and 12 undergraduate students. She has published twenty National and International research papers, 03 book chapters and 05 full papers in conference proceedings. She also have one Indian patent on her name. Presently she is working on synthesis of carbon dots for food analysis, fabrication of nano biosensors, synthesis of functional nano particles and development of functional foods.
