Abdrrahman Shemsu Surur is an assistant professor of medicinal and pharmaceutical chemist at University of Gondar. He finished a bachelor degree in pharmacy from Mekelle University. Following a completion of a master’s degree in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry at Addis Ababa University, he then finalized a doctorate degree in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry from university of Greifswald.
Abdrrahman Shemsu Surur is a highly motivated medicinal and pharmaceutical chemist with a desire of achieving excellence in drug discovery and development in order to make positive and meaningful contributions to the society. More than 15 years in the academia, he is well equipped to fill the empty therapeutic niche of diseases with unmet medical needs including tuberculosis and trypanosomiasis.
