Prof. Giuseppe Aiello is associate professor at University di Palermo, where he teaches Logistics and Supply chain management at the dept. of Engineering and at the dept. of Agricultural, Food and Forest Sciences. He graduated in Engineering at the Univ. of Palermo in 1996, and received a PhD in production Management from the same university in 2000. Since 2001 he started his academic career as a Researcher in production engineering. He has also been a visiting scholar in Ohio State University (OSU) – USA and cooperated with many company and institutions all over the world including UTMB, in Galveston, Texas, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (Russia), University of Malta, ecc.. He is also reviewer for several scientific journals and member of the organizing committee of several international scientific conferences (Euroma 2014, Ciosta 2017, etc.). Giuseppe Aiello has nowadays more than 15 years teaching experience, more than 100 publications in many industrial engineering fields and he is also consultant and scientific advisor of several companies and institutions. The main research interests include: Supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Mechanical Plants, Production planning, Inventory management, Project Management, waste management.
